The First Baptist Church of Marblehead, Massachusetts was formally "gathered" on February 20, 1810 by a group of twenty-one Christians in the town with the encouragement of the First Baptist Church in Salem. Throughout its history the church has maintained a desire to know and serve God. But over the last 20 years we have seen God work in some remarkable ways in the life of the church. For example, for the first time in our congregation's history, God called two of our couples as foreign missionaries to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to Slovenia and to Spain. He has also led our church to begin a youth ministry that serves not only the young people of our church, but those in the greater community.
