NEWCOMERS AND NATIVES TO HOST FIFTH ANNUAL COOKIE SWAP

The Newcomers and Natives Club (NAN) will host its fifth annual holiday cookie swap on Thursday, December 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Marblehead Historical Society, located at 170 Washington Street in Marblehead. This Newcomers and Natives Club event features cookie tasting, recipe sharing and socializing. Attendees are asked to bring 36 copies of their cookie recipe and four dozen cookies - three dozen to share with fellow NANers at the event and an extra dozen to donate to charity. NAN will assemble cookies in festive tins and donate them to local homeless women and children through the Department of Social Services. Appetizers, libations and cookies will be served. Newcomers and Natives Club is a non-profit group created to help connect singles, couples, families, newcomers and natives alike in Swampscott and Marblehead. The group’s mission is to provide a social network for both new and long time residents to socialize in a comfortable, casual setting.
